Every day I believe we all should celebrate ourselves in loving and creative ways, Here are some of the way I celebrate myself:
I think of myself as an amazing women and loving wife and mother.
I sometime spend time in my room just being quiet,or reading a book,
Yoga and meditation is another way to celebrate your self everyday.
I also spend a lot of time with my husband we could just set together
and I'm at peace and I love both my husband and my son, my son
is amazing he is 17yrs old and dealing with autism, And that within
it self can be challenging he remains very happy and doing well in
school. I also see my son as a way to celebrate and feel loved.
Find meaning in everything that makes you happy and at peace!
Great thoughts! To them I'd add: know where your celebration of self comes from.
ReplyDeleteI'm an introvert. Not shy or withdrawn or any of the old-fashioned stereotypes of what it means to be an introvert, but simply a person who's SPENDING energy when she's together with others, and GAINING energy from solitary time. The extravert is the opposite, gaining energy from time spent with others and spending energy on feeling lonely when no one else is around.
Wherever it is that your energy comes from, make sure to build into every day enough time that's devoted to the source of what gives you your strength.
